Just Women – Counsellor / Therapist (Female) – 27.5 hrs pw
Salary £24,646 to £26,276 pro-rata

We are seeking a fully qualified, experienced counsellor / therapist to provide one-to-one counselling support to women accessing the project. The successful candidate will be BACP or UKCP accredited (or eligible for accreditation and able to give clear evidence of being close to achieving accreditation). In addition to carrying a case load, they will be required to develop the counselling provision and contribute to the overall development of the Just Women project. An understanding of issues affecting women offenders and those at risk of offending is essential as is experience of working with clients with complex needs.

Just Women – Information Worker – 22 hrs pw
Salary £19,621 to 21,519 pro-rata

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Information Worker who will be responsible for developing and managing all of the information systems for the project. This will include developing monitoring and evidence-based evaluation systems to measure the outcomes of the service. They will also be responsible for responding to enquiries for information, marketing the project to potential clients and stakeholders, managing referral information, collating information resources and the development and updating of the project’s website and other marketing materials.

Just Women – Outreach Support Workers (Female) x 2 – 37 hrs pw
Salary £22,221 to £23,708

We are seeking 2 experienced caseworkers to provide one-to-one support to vulnerable women in the community. They will be responsible for recruiting women to the programme, taking referrals and developing person-centred action plans. They will have a minimum of 2 years experience of delivering casework support to vulnerable women who present with a range of complex needs including significant experience in one or more of the following areas; mental ill-health, substance misuse, criminal justice, homelessness, domestic and/or sexual abuse and involvement in prostitution.

Just Women – Volunteering and Training Co-ordinator (Female) – 37 hrs pw
Salary £22,221 to £23,708

We are seeking a skilled group facilitator to recruit, train, co-ordinate and supervise volunteer mentors to support the delivery of the Just Women project. The postholder will also be required to manage and facilitate a programme of learning and personal development activities designed to build the skills and confidence of vulnerable women to enable them develop healthier lifestyles and access opportunities for personal development and training. This will involve direct group facilitation, commissioning external facilitators and working in partnership with other providers. The role will also involve supporting women on the programme to access opportunities for supported volunteering and work experience. An understanding of issues affecting women offenders and those at risk of offending is essential as is experience of working with clients with complex needs.
