The Women’s Therapy Centre offers individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy and group psychotherapy. It is a well-established and lively organisation with a strong commitment to providing a clinical service of a high standard to the widest possible range of women, regardless of financial means.

We currently have the following staff vacancy:

Staff Psychotherapist – Group (Female)

We are looking for a psychoanalytic psychotherapist to contribute to service delivery and development as a member of the Centre’s clinical team. Applicants must be registered with the UKCP (PP section) or BPC.

Salary: £33,448 – £36,897 pro rata for 14 hours per week.

Volunteer Psychotherapists

The Women’s Therapy Centre offers individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy and group psychotherapy. It is well-established and lively organization with a strong commitment to providing a clinical service of a high standard to the widest possible range of women, regardless of financial means.

You must be a woman who has recently qualified as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist or be a trainee in psychoanalytic training, nearing qualification. Applicants who are still in training need to have completed a year’s work with the first training case.

Volunteer Trustees

We are looking to recruit highly skilled women as trustees with experience in one of the following areas: delivering psychoanalytic psychotherapy, HR, fundraising and marketing. The Women’s Therapy Centre provides psychotherapy to women by women. We are particularly interested in hearing from women with an understanding and experience of issues affecting LBT women.

Admin Volunteer

We are looking for an Admin Volunteer (Female) to support the work of the Centre. You should have office administration experience, good interpersonal skills and IT knowledge.
