WOMANKIND Worldwide is a dynamic UK agency supporting women to change their lives globally, is seeking to fill the following position within the organisation
Major Gifts Manager
This is a key post, which will be responsible for attracting significant donations from individual major donors and trusts and foundations in the UK and internationally.
As part of the Fundraising and Communications Team this post will manage a portfolio of WOMANKIND Worldwide’s grant and major individual donors with a focus on building new sustainable income.
To succeed in this varied and intellectually challenging role you will need:
* First class written, verbal and listening skills and the ability to communicate your passion for women’s rights and development.
* Experience of working confidently with a wide range of audiences from grant makers to business people to high net worth individuals.
* Proven ability in prospect research, tailoring proposals and reports to meet the needs of these varied funders, and making asks.
* Knowledge of both the UK and international fundraising environments for international development with specialist knowledge of fundraising from Trusts, Foundations and/or Major Donors.
* An ambitious and strategic approach to achieving targets, with sound experience of dealing with financial systems and budgets and an excellent eye for detail.
