The North West Girls and Young Women’s Movement ‘Feminist Webs’ has just launched it’s brand new project
- ‘DIY Feministory’ Tour, ‘Bin the Beauty Box’ and ‘Post’feminist Arts Project

Using the Feministwebs.com archive and resources based at the Manchester Metropolitan University Archive, the intergenerational volunteers’ group and youth workers will run 6 local events across the North West (based in youth work settings, advertised through local and national media) to explore what body image means to young women.

How can I get involved? Here is how…

Look at the amazing website we have, perhaps start with the film about the project to date: http://www.feministwebs.com/?page_id=457

Or the post feminist postcard section: http://www.feministwebs.com/?page_id=506

Sign up for updates on Twitter and Facebook (just type in ‘Feminist Webs’)

Email feministwebs@yahoo.co.uk to offer your support, be it checking documents, helping at events or helping spread the word through your email networks and professional contacts.

Encourage young women you know to create a postcard and send it in to us….The deadline is Christmas
